Dan Glod, CFP^®, CPWA^®, CIMA^®, ChFC^®

Founder and Wealth Manager

Dan is the Founder and Wealth Manager of Stone Fortress Wealth Strategies and brings more than 25 years of financial services experience to the clients he serves.

Before founding Stone Fortress, Dan worked with major asset management firms, including Merrill Lynch and BlackRock, where he helped financial advisors think through portfolio construction, financial planning, and practice management.

Today, Dan brings that institutional perspective to a more personal advisory relationship, helping business owners and families coordinate planning, investments, retirement, business wealth, insurance, estate, and legacy decisions.

Dan’s philosophy is simple: put the client’s goals first, make the complex easier to understand, and build long-term relationships grounded in trust and practical advice.

Jim Clark, CFA

CIO and Senior Portfolio Manager

Jim brings deep capital markets, asset management, and investment due diligence experience to Stone Fortress Wealth Strategies.

His career began at Merrill Lynch Investment Management in Princeton, New Jersey, where he worked with clients and financial advisors on market environments, investment strategy, and asset allocation. He continued that work after BlackRock acquired Merrill Lynch Investment Management.

Jim later served as a lead Client Portfolio Manager for listed real assets, including real estate securities and global infrastructure strategies, and helped support the launch and positioning of open-end mutual funds at Nuveen.

Most recently, Jim worked in alternative investment due diligence, evaluating private credit, private equity, real estate, and interval fund strategies for broker-dealers and RIAs.

At Stone Fortress, Jim helps lead investment research, portfolio oversight, due diligence, and market commentary, with a focus on helping client portfolios stay aligned with the broader plan.
